Spot Portfolio: track your crypto holdings
Updated 2026-07-20
The Spot Portfolio tab inside the Trading Journal is for tracking crypto you actually hold — your spot buys and sells — separately from your leveraged trades.
Adding your transactions
- Open the Trading Journal and switch to the Spot Portfolio tab.
- Log a buy: the coin, the amount, and the price you paid.
- Log a sell the same way when you sell some or all of a coin.
What the portfolio shows you
Once your buys and sells are logged, the portfolio does the math for you:
- Live prices — your holdings are valued with real-time market prices.
- Average cost — if you bought a coin several times at different prices, the app calculates your true average entry.
- Unrealized PnL — the profit or loss on coins you still hold, updating in real time as prices move.
- Realized PnL — the profit or loss you actually locked in from your sells.
Why track spot separately?
Spot holding is a different game from trading. Mixing long-term holdings with short-term trades in one list hides how each is really performing. The Spot Portfolio keeps your investment picture clean.
Good habits
- Log every buy and sell right away, while the details are fresh.
- Check your average cost before adding to a position — it keeps decisions rational.
- The portfolio is a tracking tool for your own records; it does not connect to or move funds in any exchange account.
